Empathy is a key factor in crossing borders and in understanding a group by understanding where they are coming from. By having empathy, people are able to understand the other group and begin to empathize for them. It is very important to have empathy for the other group in order to steer clear from stereotypes and be treated well. Some do not show empathy and come up with judgments.
